Haws Polar Skid Decontamination Shower
Model 8760 Polar series is a skid-mounted decontamination emergency shower and tempering system for use in indoor areas that are protected from freezing. Each unit is equipped with a 20 gpm shower, 5 gpm eye/facewash and a 4 gpm drench hose mounted on a heavy-duty skid. Skid is a water resistant, polyurea membrane-encased, steel-reinforced wooden structure. Also included is a modesty curtain, protective wall, hot water supply and tempered water blending system. The Model 8760 polar unit is available with either a 119 or a 325 gallon storage capacity tank, as well as an instantaneous steam heat exchanger as options. Should the simultaneous operation of more than one shower be desired, Haws offers a high-flow blending system for the 325 gallon tank and steam heat exchanger systems. All tempered water systems incorporate fail-safe features including anti-scald protection and full flow cold water bypass. Haws Polar Unit Model 8760 is ideal as a stand-alone system or as a feeder to other remote Haws polar booth substations. Should the simultaneous operation of more than one shower be desired, as an option, Haws offers a high-flow blending system for the 325 gallon tank and steam heat exchangers.
